Mining the Bible
In the Bible, Faith is a word that is threadbare in al just about altogether of the books. The passage regarding Faith that I examined is Ephesians 6:10-17. This passage from capital of Minnesota’s letter was written to show his readers/hearers that Faith can be compared to an everyday target like harness.
This passage tells us that by putting on the “armor of deity” we are protected from the powers of evil and temptations. capital of Minnesota relates the Christian trust to a Roman soldier’s equipment, because in the time that this letter was written many good deal would bring in seen a Roman soldier and known what they wore and what all they carried. This imagery gives Christians a way to envision the message that capital of Minnesota is trying to give them, by relating faith to something the community would have seen on a daily basis. Today when we hear armor we normally think of a knight clad in a shiny metal suit of iron doing battle, and the auspices that his armor gave him. To me this is what Paul was trying to tell his hearers, that the proverbial “armor of God’ is the greatest protection that a person of faith can have.
Beneath all imagery associated with this passage, the message is heretofore clear, that faith in God and embracing his love is the most powerful protection that anyone could hope for. God’s controlling love guides us down a righteous course of action and protects us from the temptations that everyone faces in this world. Connecting with God is difficult for many state these days and the Bible is a tool that many of these people use to try and reconnect with God. This passage is a good nosepiece for people who are trying to connect to God because Paul uses everyday images to build up a foundation for his argument. The armor and the shield of the soldier allow people to see God’s protection as something other than just a shadow that follows us around and keeps us away from harm.If you indispensability to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
