ASU Preparatory Academy operates beneath the philosophy that every student can complete college and make a meaningful contribution to their community and to society. In parliamentary procedure to achieve these results, ASU Preparatory was designed to increase student faculty member achievements and college completion rates by integrating the university-infused environment that personalizes education to prepare students to succeed school daymanally, compete globally and contribute to society.
Mission
To garner the ASU community as an engine for positive change that, with philanthropic investment, will measurably affect societys pressing issues by the universitys vast constellation of intellectual capital, research infrastructure, students, alumni and friends.
Programs
ASU Parents Association (ASUPA) has championed student success and created a community in which parents stay connected with their students and the university. The Parents Association is also an ardent supporter of student-focused programs, scholarships and initiatives.
For the 201112 academic year, the Parents Association granted more than $350,000 to a variety of programs, including:
$210,000 to scholarships for deserve students.
$41,000 to Student Success Centers, funding free tutoring on all campuses.
$20,000 to the Emergency Crisis Fund for students in financial difficulty.
Service Learning
At ASU Preparatory, I work with kindergarten students that need additional help with their school work. I provide one on one tutoring in various subjects.
