Many of us cerebrate that we are born or conditioned with certain skill, tools, trades or
expertise that give us that extra mile or edge over everyone else; but who determines if we have
what it takes. We are all good at something and some of us are experts at opposites, but then there
are those who continuously manage to excel and go beyond perfection to establish a towering
standard or set the bar high for others to challenge.
Most of these ocean officers had to meet various and crucial requirements to be
considered to become Naval aviators, one of those requirements was your age; you couldnt be
past the roll of 04 and above. Even though in the while of the late 40s and early 50s it was well
known that a Naval master copys image was displayed as a teenaged man with good looks and physically
fit; in other words a young boot camp pilot that had what it takes to become a Naval pilot with
right stuff.
Realistically, why did it really issuance How old you were and position in rank you
held; now these days if someone has the ability to perform and sleep together the same tasks as the
other person it should not matter whether you are getting pitch to retire or scarcely starting, if you are
a beginner or a jaunt man. 1
Many of these Naval pilots had to endure in various relentless tests and challenges to
achieve new levels or standards beyond their limitations. Amazingly, these pilots knew the
satisfactions, rewards but as well as the consequences that came with the job, they had to risk their
lives on a daily basis. They did this for the love of loyal but at what price? even though these
pilots were ready to give their life away for a piece of level in the making of flying but was it
fair to the wives and children they were go forth behind; while these pilots were dying in glory
