Charles Dickens was born in Porsmouth England on February 7th 1812(Wilson XIV). He was the second son of eight children born to John and Elizabeth Dickens. They travel around several times. John and Elizabeth were married in 1809. In 1824 his father John was beat in Marsalsea debtors prison for his inability to pay his debts. When John was released from prison, he went to drub for the Navy pay office from which he retired (bloom). After his hideaway he went to work as a reporter unless was still unable to man maturate money and often went slow Charless back to ask his friend for loans.
At the age of only twelve Charles set about pulled him out of school to go to work at Warrens blacking factory. He worked there until his father was released from prison but an argument caused him to digest his job (Bloom).
