Shu wen is a passionate women, her eff for her husband becomes her strength and gives her an aim to move and face situations which she has neer imagined. She begins her locomote in Tibet as naive twenty six year old Chinese women with no knowledge of Tibetan culture, language and worship. In the story there were many situations which wen has showed courage entirely there were some parts where she required some motivation and help of others to maintain that courage to spare going.
The first sign of Wen showing courage was when, she started her journey to Tibet to find her husband, there she was facing an uncertain future, because she was not conscious(predicate) or had the Tibetan knowledge about, culture or religion to help her survive the harsh conditions.
On her way to Tibet she met full prevalent Wang Liang, as Wen didnt know what hardships she could be facing, the general warned her about the high altitudes and the harsh conditions of the war.
