My name is ______________, I am a true believer in the Lord delivery boy Christ, and I have struggled with alcohol addiction for over 20 years.
The aberration of my life before recovery was the absence of The Holy inwardness in my life. I thought I had great conquest in my career (telecommunications) family, friends, and self respect. I was blind. My addiction more or less destroyed all these things. I was diagnosed as a lately stage souse, as I really did not drink in much until I was 22 years old (which I was told was one of the worst, if there is a worst).
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY. My dad was an alcoholic an addictive gambler. It wasnt until I was 16 or 17 until I realized my mom was an alcoholic also. During my early years, 5-13 years, I had some sort of relationship with God. I attended public school, and went to what was called catechism, which was an after school bible area class at the Roman Catholic school on Wednesday afternoons. Nuns were our instructors, and I enjoyed it more than my friends. I was always interested in bible stories, especially the Old Testament, and the story of Jesus. I hark back that I couldnt wait for the TV networks to show movies comparable The Ten Commandments, Ben-Hur, The Greatest Story Ever Told, King of Kings, Jesus of Nazareth, and others.



Much of my knowledge came from the movies. I attended Sunday sens with my mom until I missed interest when I was active 13 or 14. I was Baptized as an infant, genuine the Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion at 8yrs old, and made Confirmation or Chrismation at 13, which are lead of the seven sacraments of Catholicism. However, in all that, I really never came to know Jesus. Fast forward to my addiction years, Ive lost great jobs, and other material things, along with the respect of my family, friends and labor peers many of those leaders in my industry.
